NeighborWorks Home Partners is the administrator for the City of Woodbury Homeowner Loan and Incentive Programs.

Get help with homeownership in Woodbury

We partner with the City of Woodbury with homeownership programs to help homeowners buy and repair homes and make them more energy efficient.  Loans up to $25,000 are available to households with incomes up to $95,000 per year. There are four programs available:

Woodbury First-time Home Ownership Program

Woodbury provides down payment assistance to make homeownership more affordable. Low-interest, deferred loans of up to $25,000 are available to buyers who have not owned a home in the past three years. Purchase prices must be $312,600 or less, and these funds can be used for single-family detached houses, townhomes, or condos. Special rates are offered to senior citizens and military veterans. Applicants must complete an approved homebuyer education program.
Down Payment Program Guidelines

Woodbury Foreclosure Purchase Program

Buyers who purchase a foreclosed property may qualify for down payment incentives similar to the First-Time Homeownership Program. The program is not limited to first-time buyers. Applicants must complete an approved homebuyer education program.
Foreclosure Program Guidelines

Woodbury Home Improvement Fund

This program helps homeowners make repairs that improve the value of the home and/or correct code violations. Funds are available as low-interest loans.
Home Improvement Program Guidelines

Woodbury Goes Green

This program provides incentives for sustainable building practices and energy efficiency improvements. This program may be combined with the Home Improvement Fund if the household meets all requirements for both programs.
