Get help with homeownership in Woodbury
We partner with the City of Woodbury with homeownership programs to help homeowners buy and repair homes. There are two programs available:
Woodbury First-time Homeownership Program
Woodbury provides down payment assistance to make homeownership more affordable. Low-interest, deferred loans of up to $30,000 are available to buyers who have not owned a home in the past three years. Purchase prices must be $419,000 or less, and these funds can be used for single-family detached houses, townhomes, or condos. Applicants must complete an approved homebuyer education program. The first-time buyer requirement is waived for properties that are in foreclosure. This program has an income limit of $146,000.

This home improvement program helps homeowners make repairs that improve the value of the home and/or correct code violations. Funds are available as low-interest loans, with a maximum loan amount of $40,000 and minimum of $2,000. Discounted rates are offered to senior citizens and military veterans. The income limit for this program is $146,000.
