To be eligible for Welcome Home down payment assistance, buyers must complete a financial wellness course from an approved provider prior to entering into a purchase agreement. Buyers must also complete an approved homebuyer education program prior to closing.

Homebuyer Education Options
There are three approved options for homebuyer education:
- HomeStretch™. (NeighborWorks Home Partners offers this course, or you can find other providers through the Minnesota Homeownership Center website.)
- Framework online education
