Training and Technology Coordinator, AmeriCorps VISTA
Gain experience in nonprofit operations and customer relationship management while helping increase access to homeownership. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys geeking out over data, thinking about systems and connections, creating processes and presentations, and helping others learn and expand their horizons.
1.) Implement technology updates and tools to provide a better customer experience and improve efficiency to serve more customers.
2.) Increase staff and customer utilization of SalesForce and our customer-facing technology portal to increase capacity for our organization to serve customers. You’ll create processes, list views, reports, etc. and implement new tools, and then train us to use them.
3.) Develop evaluation measures to identify strengths and weaknesses and areas for improvement in our service offerings. This may include surveys, focus groups, Google Analytics, and analysis of past data.
4.) Create customer workflows that will help automate service delivery and staff training.
This is a full time, yearlong AmeriCorps VISTA position, beginning August 19, 2019 and running through August 18, 2020. AmeriCorps VISTA members receive a living allowance of $472.22 bi-weekly, and are eligible for a tuition award ($6,095) or cash benefit (approximately $1,800) at completion of service. NeighborWorks Home Partners provides an additional $300/month housing subsidy. VISTA members also attend a week-long training seminar, typically in Washington, DC, with a variety of course options available that may count toward career certifications.
