NeighborhoodLIFT Approved Education Providers

The NeighborhoodLIFT Down Payment Assistance program requires completion of eight hours of homebuyer education prior to requesting funds. Buyers must also have a valid homebuyer education certificate at closing on their property.  Certificates of completion are valid for 12 months after issuance.  Please reach out to NeighborWorks Home Partners for further details.

Buyers purchasing a multi-unit property must also complete Landlord Education before closing on the property (not before applying for the program.)

Below is a list of agencies that are approved to provide you with the required education. The LIFT program allows the borrower(s) to complete education either through an instructor-led workshop or online self-guided course. Buyers who take Framework online education must also complete a one-hour, 1-on-1 counseling appointment. This appointment can be completed with any organization on this list.

You are not required to work with NeighborWorks Home Partners to receive your homebuyer education.  Below is a list of approved providers. All agencies provide classes in English and additional languages as noted.
