Just like you, we help homebuyers become homeowners.
First-time homebuyers have a lot of questions. We are here to help you answer them. When you refer your customers to us, you are sharing a resource that adds value to the service you provide.
Our homebuyer education services are available to anyone, regardless of income. In our Home Stretch workshops, we cover the ins and outs of buying a home and preparing for a successful ownership experience, and bring in experts like loan officers, home inspectors, and insurance agents to talk about why each is important in the transaction*. We explain what happens at closing – and what to do to make sure closing day arrives as planned.
For buyers who aren’t quite ready to qualify for a mortgage, we offer financial guidance to help correct credit report errors and identify ways to improve credit scores.
We also help customers find down payment assistance sources, and create spending and savings plans so they can build up a down payment of their own.
We hear from the professionals we work with that homebuyers who have been through pre-purchase education are more confident about buying. They also have a significantly lower risk of foreclosure once they become homeowners, leading to a more successful ownership experience.
“The clients that I work with that have been through pre-purchase counseling first are educated and confident, which really helps with the entire homebuying process.” – Karen, broker
