Residents of Saint Paul may be eligible for financial assistance.

Worried about keeping your home due to income loss from COVID-19?

You worked hard to get where you are today. We can help you stay there.

The City of Saint Paul has partnered with the Minnesota Homeownership Center to offer the Saint Paul Homeownership Preservation Program (SPHPP).

SPHPP provides support to homeowners within the city limits of Saint Paul who are experiencing difficulty paying their mortgage or other housing expenses. SPHPP offers foreclosure prevention advising and limited financial assistance. Not all homeowners will qualify for financial assistance.

To determine if you are eligible for SPHPP, visit the Saint Paul Homeownership Preservation Program (SPHHP) website at the Minnesota Homeownership Center. If you believe you qualify, you can begin the application process by answering questions in the eligibility tool. Alternatively, you may call 651-236-8952 for assistance.
